Distance Learning (DL) students at Tech are defined as those who take classes exclusively online and live more than 25 miles from his or her home campus. It is our goal to meet the information needs of DL students as efficiently and effectively as those of on-campus students.

How can I borrow print books from the Ross Pendergraft Library (RPL)?
Use the Interlibrary Loan link below to "Request a Book". It will be mailed to you. It is your responsibility send the item back to the library. Your only cost is that of the return.
What if I need an older article that is only on microfilm or in the compact shelving?
Use the Interlibrary Loan tab above and click on ink to "Request an Article". It will be scanned and emailed to you at no cost.
What if I need a journal article that is not available in Tech's library?
Use the Interlibrary Loan tab to "Request an Article" and we will request it from another library. Usually these are sent to us electronically and will be forwarded to you. If the lending library sends photocopies we will mail them to you at no cost.
What if I need a physical book that is not available at Tech?
Use the Interlibrary Loan tab to "Request a Book". The library will request it from another library and send the item to you. It is your responsibility to send the item back to us. Your only cost is that of your return to Tech.
