Using Articles from Library Databases in Blackboard

The library subscribes to over 300 databases filled with many types of articles that can be used in your Bb shell.

Best Practice:

Use the permanent link to article from the database. Different database vendors use different terms for this and have different ways of accessing it. The screenshots on this page illustrate how to find this link in the major databases.

Why do this?

The permanent, persistent, or static link includes the information that allows ATU folks to authenticate and access the information that is behind the paywall.

Ebsco 50+ databases

Gale 53+ databases

ProQuest 95+ databases

Don't hesitate to contact the library if you cannot find the permanent link in a database you are using. Click AskUs in the top bar.
