Journal Citation Metrics
Journal Citation Metrics
ProQuest now provides metrics from Journal Citation Reports that can help you evaluate the impact of a journal. The Journal Impact Factor (JIF) and Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) data are available for journals that are part of the Web of Science Core Collection.
Select citation metrics can be accessed by clicking the publication title on a document page, and complete metrics can be viewed by clicking the browse publications button from the preview. Alternatively, look up journals by clicking the hamburger in the upper left, selecting publications, and launching your search from there.

Read Any Good Books?
The Library wants YOU to help develop, update, enrich and elevate our permanent collection. Faculty recommendations are essential to grow a library which supports the curriculum and programs offered at Arkansas Tech University. Send in your suggestions through the form Recommend an Item for Purchase or by contacting your department’s librarian.
Each recommendation will be evaluated based on costs of the item, remaining library funds, availability of the item, curricular support of our academic programs, as well as scholarly, artistic, and cultural merit.
To request an item for a course reserve or to place an item on course reserve, use the online form Faculty Course Reserve Request.
Video Production Guide
Video Production Guide
Many of us create videos, so wouldn't it be great if we had one place to go for a curated set of resources to begin our journey in video and film making or to level-up our current skills? Look no further than the Video Production Guide. This resource covers everything from the basics to advanced techniques to improve your video production skills. Please share this with your students who might create videos for their class assignments.
Enjoy!
Research Guides
Research Guides
Do your students find research to be overwhelming? Let us help!
Librarians can curate subject or course specific research guides. A research guide is a mini-library website featuring the most relevant databases, books, and other sources for your field of study. It also features information about RefWorks, writing style guides, interlibrary loan, and so much more.
Check out the guides that have already been created. We can customize these however you see fit. These can be made accessible through your BlackBoard shells. Contact your library liaison to find out more.

Whose Book Is It Anyway?
There is no improvisation as how to cite a book.
Unlike the famous TV show "where everything's made up and the points don't matter" as Drew Carey always said, correctly citing a resource is not a work of fiction and the grades matter.
Your students can use RefWorks, a professional citing tool that will put together all the necessary elements of a good citation. However, let’s remember that RefWorks is an AI. So, they should look at some other references to ensure that their citations are as should be.
