The Arkansas Traveler Program
Did you know that many of the online databases available at Arkansas Tech University are actually provided freely from a grant funded by the Institute of Museums and Library Services?
This state program, administered by the Arkansas State Library, is called the Arkansas Traveler Program. It secures our access to ProQuest Central, ProQuest One Business, ProQuest One Literature, and many of the ebooks in Ebook Central. To see which resources are included, go to our A-Z Databases page, and look for the blue icon: “ASL Traveler.”
For more information, see our latest blog post.

Have you heard about the Arkansas Tech Press Scrapbooks?
For many years, newspaper clippings of articles related to Tech people and events were cut out and saved in these oversized scrapbooks. This collection holds an incredible amount of our institution’s history from 1942 to 1995, and it is now open to researchers. Special collections materials and open archival collections like this one can be viewed by appointment.
Check out the Special Collections and ATU Archives page to register and schedule a visit.
Library Services for Faculty
Library Services for Faculty
The library offers many services for faculty that might go unnoticed. Here are few you may not know about:
  1. Faculty can Recommend a Library Item for Purchase and/or make a Library Instruction Request to help their students learn about library resources.
  2. The library has a laminator (located on the first floor) that can laminate up to two feet wide.
  3. Faculty can Request an ARKLink Card from the Circulation Desk that would provide library borrowing privileges at 53 college and university libraries throughout Arkansas.
These services and more can be found on the Services for Faculty webpage.
